Spherical Panorama Full Virtual Tour "Kamenka Museum"
Kamenka, Tcherkassy Alexander Pushkin and Peter Tchaikovsky "the Eastern Literary Memorial Museum "
A modest, cozy, chestnut-covered town of Kamenka in the Tcherkassy region.
The emerald necklace of the old river Taysmin, skirting the town - gives it a unique beauty and tranquility.
The city of Kamenka was founded in the 17th century, and by its name,
it is apparently associated with the granite banks of the river Taysmin,
lost in the immense gold of breadfields.
The history of the city is closely connected with the names of the heroes of the Patriotic War of 1812: Raevsky, Yermolov, Davydov.
The great Russian poet Alexander Pushkin, exiled to the south of Russia by the tsarist government,
came to Kamenka several times during the years 1820-1822. Here he was breathing easily to the “supervised exiled poet”; here he rested with his soul.
In 1865, Pyotr Tchaikovsky came to hospitable Kamenka to his beloved sister Sasha (Alexandra Davydova,
who was married to the son of the Decembrist Davydov). Since then,
for 28 years, he has been visiting the city on the coast of Tiasmin almost every year.
